Lucky Baby! Jay-Z Rents a $1 Million Playspace for Blue Ivy

Well, it’s no $8 million British country estate, but for someone who’s not yet a year old, it’s not too shabby.

Us Weekly reveals that Jay-Z – not known for pinching pennies – has rented out the most expensive of the private VIP suites in the new Barclays Center arena in Brooklyn. The space goes for a cool $1 million per year.

The suite features a large play area for little Blue Ivy that’s “filled with toys,” according to the magazine’s source. It’s a handy place for her to crawl around and have fun while Dad and mom Beyonce perform their concerts or attend basketball games.

Jay and Bey can hang out there as well, since the glassed-in suite features a champagne bar and large TV.

It’s all part of the luxe life little Blue has enjoyed ever since her debut into the world last January 7. From the top-of-the-line birthing suite where she spent the first days of her life to her spectacular nursery and massive shoe collection, nothing has been too good for this little heir to music royalty. We can only imagine what they have planned for their little girl’s first birthday in a few days.

Of course, it’s their money to use as they see fit. And we’re sure that this power couple will teach their daughter to be generous to those less fortunate.

But wouldn’t it be fun if, for a future birthday, Blue Ivy were to demand a party at Chuck E. Cheese with a supermarket cake?
