Lynn Redgrave Passes Away at 67 With Children At Her Side

Lynn Redrave passed away last night peacefully in her home at age 67 surrounded by loved ones following a seven-year battle with breast cancer.  Redgrave was part of an entertainment family dynasty, which included her late niece Natasha Richardson who died of a head trauma last year and older sister and fellow actress Vanessa Redgrave.  She had received Oscar nominations for “Georgy Girl” and “Gods and Monsters,” and Tony nominations for “Mrs. Warren’s Profession,” “Shakespeare for My Father” and “The Constant Wife.”

Her children — Ben, Pema and Annabel — issued a touching statement following her passing:

“Our beloved mother Lynn Rachel passed away peacefully after a seven year journey with breast cancer,” they said in a statement Monday. “She lived, loved and worked harder than ever before. The endless memories she created as a mother, grandmother, writer, actor and friend will sustain us for the rest of our lives. Our entire family asks for privacy through this difficult time.”
