Maci Bookout Gives Her Best Parenting Advice On Instagram

Maci Bookout is definitely one Teen Mom that we love to follow as she’s always sharing great pics of her her son Bentley, her stylish selfies, and of course, her behind-the-scenes pics of her life as a single mom. The MTV star recently shared her best Parenting advice on her Instagram account and it was perhaps the best thing I’ve heard in a very long time.

The celebrity mama shared a photo of her giving her son a kiss with the caption:

Some of the best parenting advice I’ve ever received was that no matter how many questions your child asks.. Like ‘Why do you have to stop at a red light?’ followed by a ‘Why did they make that a rule?’ followed by a ‘What happens if you don’t stop at a red light?’ followed by about five more ‘Why’s?’ … Try your best to take the time to answer every question. They’re listening, and learning. One day they will appreciate the time you spent talking to them.

OMG, I don’t think I could have said it better myself. While yes, the “why” questions can get sometimes annoying (especially when your child is going at full speed and you’ve had “one of those days”), I totally agree with Maci that the best thing you can do is answer each and every question. Who knows, one day we’ll miss all of those car ride conversations with our little ones and their creative and curious little minds.

Tell us Babble readers, what’s the best parenting advice you’ve ever received?
