Lourdes who is now 13, hugged a few friends and chatted with others after arriving at a Manhattan school at 8 a.m.
Celebrities are people too with kids who go to school, but the fact that Lourdes is going to a public school makes it more interesting.
A fellow freshman spoke about Lourdes saying, “She was talking to people. … She blends in with everyone. She seems like a normal person.”
Understandably, Lourdes looked around warily for photographers, declining to comment as she headed into the school with her classmates.
What was the material mom’s first-born wearing? She’s already fashionable, running a Macy’s clothing line with her mom. She sported ankle-high leather boots, a black skirt and a plaid sleeveless shirt over a white T-shirt.
Lourdes is reportedly in the drama department – a track intended to prepare students for an acting career. Ninth-grade drama students are required to take classes in acting, dance, voice and diction, improvisation and theater history.
Some classmates were keen on mingling with the famous teen, but they didn’t want to seem too eager.
“I don’t want to be like, ‘Your mom’s a celebrity,'” said her fellow first-year student. “But if the occasion arises, I’d definitely talk to her.”
I would rather not reveal the name of the school unlike other news sources, in order to protect her privacy, but she is attending a music, art and performing arts school.
