Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon argue about having more children.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon don’t want their kids to one day enter show biz!

Cannon said that he will “absolutely not” allow his twins get into the show business like him and superstar wife Mariah.

“I just want them to strive for something greater than entertainment,” The America’s Got Talent host told PEOPLE backstage after the show’s season finale.

“I’m one of those believers in teachers, professors, heart surgeons. That’s what I’m rooting for. If I could get a scientist, that’d be amazing.”

Moroccan and Monroe are only 4 ½ month old  - perhaps they will want to follow in their parents footsteps one day?

Being in the limelight growing up will surely be tempting as the kids grow up!

Although their careers are super busy, Cannon knows the importance of family first.

“Being a father and being a husband comes first,” he says. “Everybody knows I’m obsessed with my wife,” he gushes. “I’m married to Mariah Carey. It doesn’t get better than that. I’d be an idiot to do anything wrong. I worship my wife. Have you seen my back? My back says ‘Mariah Forever.’ ”

As for their showbiz careers, they can relate to one another perfectly.

“My wife is so understanding because she’s just as busy and just as focused as I am, so it’s kind of like the perfect match,” he says.

“I love my career and I love being in entertainment, so it never really feels like an occupation.”
