RadarOnline reported earlier this morning that Mariah Yeater had dropped her paternity suit against Justin Bieber, but it looks like the news may have been broken a little bit too soon!
Mariah’s attorney, Jeffrey Leving said, “I did not step down and there is a legal team. It’s a new legal team. In light of death threats against my client, strategies have been reviewed…the San Diego team has been replaced by John Carlson from Los Angeles.”
Leving also added, “She (Mariah) believes Justin Bieber is the father. Right now there’s no more interviews for Mariah Yeater, I’m not going to allow that. Secondly, negotiations are going on right now with Bieber’s council and we’re trying to negotiate a private, secure DNA test with the same safe guards that would exist if there were a court order, but without a court order. The case is completely out of control and I don’t want something terrible to happen to my client or her child.”
I can’t help but be curious as to why this dude let Yeater do interviews in the first place. Considering just how devoted Justin Bieber fans are, did he really think there would not be a huge backlash against Mariah?
I’m still on team Bieber for this one, and something in my gut tells me that Mariah Yeater is just trying to make a cheap buck off of the biggest teen star in the world. What do you think?
