Megan Fox Got A Nanny To Help Save Her Marriage

According to Megan Fox, hiring a nanny helped save her marriage. The hot Hollywood actress and new celebrity mom explains that while she tried to take care of her newborn baby Noah all on her own, the pressure of being a new mom and getting no sleep took a toll on her marriage to husband Brian Austin Green, prompting the couple to finally get the help they needed in raising their child.

She says“Having an infant is difficult. It’s a lot of work and I didn’t hire any help because I overestimated my own abilities. I had no idea how difficult babies could be, so Brian and I were exhausted. You never sleep and you’re awake all night and your entire life is devoted to this little thing that needs you constantly. And I love it. It’s what I’ve wanted to do since I was a little girl.”

She added: “I always wanted to mother things and I constantly had a doll I was taking care of. I don’t receive the same satisfaction from my career as I do from being a mother so I’m really happy. But two weeks ago I said to Brian, ‘We have to get a night nurse or we’re going to get a divorce because someone’s got to sleep in this house or we’re going to kill each other.'”

I totally hear Megan on this one. But while my budget isn’t deep enough to hire a night nanny, the hubster and I did take turns taking care of our first child during those first few months so at least we both got sleep every other night. Tell us Babble readers, what was your experience with your newborn children in the first weeks of their lives? Did you get any shut-eye?
