Michael Jackson’s kids were interviewed for the first time ever this week by Oprah Winfrey.
The episode is due to be aired in a few weeks but has already sparked outrage from the late star’s brother Randy Jackson.
“I found out Oprah was at our family home, my stomach ached and it still hasn’t gone away,” he said.
“It was deliberately kept from me because they knew I would’ve tried to stop it. I know how Oprah feels about my brother and family. I know he would not have wanted this,” Randy said.
Michael was very protective of his children’s privacy, always covering their faces while in public. Jackson says Winfrey is the last person Michael Jackson would have wanted around his kids.
He vented in a series of posts on Twitter recently. He said: “I know how Oprah feels about my brother and family.”
He noted that when the jury was deliberating Michael Jackson’s fate on child molestation charges in 2005, Winfrey did a show on pedophilia. Randy Jackson said it wasn’t a coincidence.
What do you think – should Oprah have done this interview? Or should she have respected the late singer’s wishes?
