Real Housewives of DC ‘star’ Michaele Salahi, who gained notoriety for crashing a White House dinner last fall , and who just last week accused Whoopi Goldberg of hitting her during her appearance on The View, has been served!
Salahi, who was absent for Bravo’s official Real Housewives of DC premiere party, was served, along with her husband, at their own private party, according to The Washington Post.
PR Firm Brotman-Winter-Fried Communications claims that the company owes more than $15,000 in unpaid fees from a 2008 polo event. “It was an affidavit for debtors interrogatory,” Steve Winter, president of BWF, said. “It means they’ll have to appear in court to discuss their financial means — how they are capable of paying off the debt.”
Apparently Salahi is not a favourite amongst her fellow cast members either. Catherine Ommanney, who also appears on the Real Housewives of DC, told UsMagazine.com “I don’t want to see them; I don’t want to talk to them,” Ommanney sniped. “I don’t want to be associated with them.”
While she may not want to be associated with them the Salahi’s troubles will probably only increase the ratings for their show. This is the second Real Housewife to come under fire for not paying their bills. Theresa Guidice of The Real Housewives of New Jersey just recently made headlines for having to declare bankruptcy after being faced with $11 million in debt from failed real estate ventures.
