Michelle Obama Cheers On Team USA At The Olympics (Photos)Joanna Mazewski
During my middle and high school years I used to be a competitive swimmer, so whenever I watch the sport on television I automatically get tired looking at someone do a 200 meter Butterfly race (hey, it was exhausting). Now I still miss the sport, but fifteen years and two children later, the only thing I do in the pool these days is watch for unidentifiable floating objects when too many toddlers around.
But with Michelle Obama it’s a totally different story as the First Lady and celebrity mom showed off her American pride by cheering on Team USA with former Olympic swimmer and mom-of-two Summer Sanders at the London Aquatic Center at the Olympics today.
The First Lady just couldn’t stay in her seat as she jumped and cheered on our swimming team as they collected their first gold medals during Day 1 of the Olympics. She had on a black, green and silver sleeveless shirt and black pants as she waved an American flag in her hands. I almost want to say that ensemble looks like it’s from Chico’s but only Michael Phelp’s mom would know the answer to that one, right?
