Michelle Obama Cheers On The Mens Basketball Team At The Olympics (Photos)

Michelle Obama

Remember when Chelsea Clinton cheered on Team USA at the Beijing Olympics in 2008? Well, it looks like our official White House cheerleader for the 2012 Olympic Games is our First Lady Michelle Obama, because she is everywhere giving it her all and showing her support to our country’s top athletes. After spending Saturday at the Aquatic Center to cheer on Michael Phelps and the rest of the swim team, today she was courtside shouting “USA” while our men’s basketball team played against France.

The First Lady, who was dressed casually in a grey sweater, even got a few sweaty hugs after members of the team including Kobe Bryant, James LeBron and Kevin Love got up and personal with her as she congratulated them. We can say that it was very nice of her to offer those hugs and at the same time it must have been a little… ewwy. But she’s a mom after all, so she’s there to give whatever support she can!

Take a look at our photos below.
