Michelle Obama's "Let's Move" Child Obesity Initiative Launches Today
Every First Lady picks a cause to promote during her stay in the White House, and Michelle Obama is lending her talents to one that is important to parents and families everywhere — the epidemic of childhood obesity. Today the initiative, Let’s Move, officially launches and Michelle is doing the media rounds discussing what Let’s Move is all about.
The First Lady tells USA Today: ”It’s an ambitious goal, but we don’t have time to wait. We’ve got to stop citing statistics and wringing our hands and feeling guilty, and get going on this issue.”
