I’m not a Miley Cyrus fan — have you noticed? But until recently I sort of muttered to myself that I just didn’t get it. What’s the big deal about her, anyway? My guess is the right place at the right time has more to do with her superstardom rather than pure, raw talent. Not that the gal is a bad singer, mind you, but in many ways she strikes me as average. Well, now my ambivalence has turned to disdain. She’s 17! Giving lap dances that her father defends as “just fun,” dressing like a tart while shimmying on stripper poles and now, performing for kids wearing a ridiculously inappropriate ensemble. So what did she wear recently in front of the crowd in Portugal made up of children, tweens and teens?
A skimpy, skintight olive-colored leotard plus studded leather jacket and black high-heeled peep toe boots. Check it out here. (And dare I admit that I actually find the song “Can’t Be Tamed” catchy? Shoot me.)
