More Family Talk from Gwyneth Paltrow

By Erin Blakeley |

Has anyone noticed that Gwyneth Paltrow has been quite chatty lately? With IronMan 2 coming out next month, the GOOP-er has been on somewhat of a publicity tour of late. Up next: the cover story of May’s Harpers Bazaar, where she dishes on the best part of life in the Paltrow-Martin household.

“When you’re having dinner with your kids and your husband and someone says something funny or you’re dying laughing because your 3-year-old made a fart joke, it doesn’t matter what else is going on,” she says in the article, according to People. “That’s real happiness.”

She also praises husband Chris Martin for helping teach her guitar for her role in the upcoming Love Don’t Let Me Down, in which she plays an alcoholic country singer.

“He was so helpful, so sweet and encouraging.” Paltrow recalls. “He is so great because he’s so supportive of me as an artist … I really lucked out with him. He’s deeply lovely and special.”

She also took the time to express sympathy for her former flame Brad Pitt and his family, and the intrusion they suffer at the hands of the paparazzi.

“I feel bad for them,” she says. “They have it worse than anybody on the planet. I mean, we get hounded too, but not like that.”
