Mr. and Mrs. Pitt? Rumor Has It Brad and Angelina Had a Christmas Wedding

Did they do it for real this time?

A new rumor has surfaced that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie quietly got married on Christmas Day while on vacation in the Turks and Caicos.

I know, I know. We’ve heard these types of stories before. Ever since the longtime partners got engaged last April, reports have surfaced about ceremonies at various locations, including their French estate, Chateau Miraval. After a while, you just wish they’d find the nearest courthouse and get it over with.

But a new “it really happened” murmur is making the rounds today, courtesy of the UK newspaper The Daily Telegraphwhich isn’t ordinarily known for dishing gossip.

A source tells the paper that Brangelina wed at the Parrot Cay estate of designer Donna Karan. They’ve been staying there over the holidays with their children, plus Brad’s parents, brother and sister and their kids.

The house, which sleeps 22, features an “infinity pool,” a movie screening room and a dining pavilion.

Adding to the intrigue, the New York Post‘s Page Six reported shortly after Christmas that the couple also brought along 12 nannies – two for each of their six children. That seems a bit excessive for a casual beach week, but it’s more than plausible that they would need a crew that size to keep the young ones out from underfoot if a major event were being set up.

No word yet from either the couple or their representatives, so for now we’re taking this latest story with a gigantic block of salt.

But you can be sure that we’ll be watching carefully for signs of new bling on their hands at their next photo op!
