Nancy Pelosi To Make Public Statement On Election Results

By Mara Siegler |

Speaker Nancy Pelosi can’t be happy today. The Republicans will take control this January at which time she will have to give up her gavel as Speaker of the House of Representatives.

She’s not done any interviews yet, but plans on breaking her silence.
Her first remarks will come tonight during on ABC World News Tonight when she speaks with anchor Diane Sawyer.

Nancy issued a written statement last night on the GOP victory:

“Over the last four years, the Democratic Majority in the House took courageous action on behalf of America’s middle class to create jobs and save the country from the worst economic catastrophe since the Great Depression. Our Members and candidates ran remarkable campaigns led by the superb leadership of DCCC Chairman Chris Van Hollen. The outcome of the election does not diminish the work we have done for the American people. We must all strive to find common ground to support the middle class, create jobs, reduce the deficit and move our nation forward.”

Should be interesting to hear what she has to say. At least, if this is any consolation to Nancy, Christine O’Donnell didn’t win.

Now it is time for Nancy Pelosi to pole vault out after “parachuting in”. The Obama administration is socialist.
