Reports that rocker Nancy Wilson has filed for divorce from director Cameron Crowe are making headlines today, as the couple calls it quits after 22 years of marriage.
Doesn’t anyone famous stay together anymore?
Nancy Wilson, of the band Heart, and Cameron Crowe, who directed Almost Famous and Jerry Maguire, have been married 22 years.
Wilson composed music for many of Crowe’s films, including Almost Famous, Vanilla Sky, Jerry Maguire, and Elizabethtown.
Nancy Wilson filed divorce papers yesterday in Los Angeles Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences. The divorce papers list June 15, 2008 as the date of their separation.
Nancy Wilson and Cameron Crowe were married in 1986 and have 10-year-old twin boys. Wilson is seeking joint physical and legal custody of their children, plus she’s requesting spousal support.
It’s sad to see another celeb couple that appeared to be in it for the long haul split up.
