Tired of its conservative / corporate image, the fashion line is looking to bring a more youthful audience into its stores with a new advertising campaign featuring the uber-stylish Watts. The 41-year-old is featured in a series of Ernest Heminggway inspired ads.
In the new series of ads, Watts is photographed wearing leopard prints, little black dresses, and beautiful sweaters and coats from fall collection.
“The Ann Taylor woman is… smart, she’s sexy, and she cares about how she looks,” Watts tells StyleList. “She wants to be comfortable and wants a head-to-toe look that makes her feel good and strong and confident.”
The ads are set to appear in stores and in fashion publications starting in September.
Previous celebrity spokesmoms for the brand include Heidi Klum and Milla Jovovich.
