After suffering a stroke in 2007, Nate Dogg was paralyzed on his left side. He suffered another stroke in 2008 and while the rapper tried to recover from the strokes, Nate Dog died yesterday in his hometown of Long Beach, California.
Nathaniel D. Hale, also known as Nate Dogg was best known for his collaborations with Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Warren G. and Dr. Dre. Nate Dogg was beloved in the rap/hip hop community. The Press Telegram in Nate’s hometown of Long Beach, CA first reported his death late Tuesday night.
Nate was a four-time Grammy nominee. The rapper got his first Grammy nomination for his work with Warren G on Regulate. He was also nominated for a Grammy for his work with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg for The Next Episode, as well as his collaboration with Ludacris’ “Area Codes and Eminem’s Shake That.
