New Baby Alert! Keri Russell Steps Out With Willa Lou (Photos)Shana Aborn
Believe it or not, there are other babies in the world other than little Blue Ivy Carter. Take Keri Russell‘s new daughter, Willa Lou Deary. Arriving less than 2 weeks ago with far less fanfare than Beyonce‘s celebrated child, baby Willa was welcomed by Keri, husband Shane Deary and big brother River Russell.
So they have a son and a daughter, which is wonderful. But take it from someone who knows – please don’t tell them, “You have one of each, so you can stop now, right?”
The family took advantage of the unusually mild NYC temps (lest we forget, the city was buried in snow this time last year) to enjoy a day out in Brooklyn today. While River took a spin on a carousel, Keri kept Willa nice and snuggly underneath her sweater.
A different kind of baby bump, you might say.
So if you can tear yourself away from the Babyonce stories, you’ll enjoy these pictures of the Russell-Deary clan having a perfect Sunday afternoon.
(And all things considered, isn’t the old-fashioned name “Willa Lou” sounding better and better?)
Take a look here!
Rock on! 1 of 7On their afternoon stroll, 4-year-old River tries his hand at rock-hopping with the help of dad Shane Deary.
Watching her step 2 of 7Keri walks carefully in her high heels. The cuffs of her jeans are turned up - perhaps to prevent tripping?
Snack time? 3 of 7Keri's a staunch supporter of attachment parenting and on-demand breastfeeding. Her baby sling makes it easier to do both.
Saddle up! 4 of 7River chooses his mount at Brooklyn's DUMBO carousel. Hate to break it to him, but it looks like his isn't one of the horses that goes up and down.
Kangaroo care 5 of 7The unusually mild New York January day means that Keri can unbutton her sweater and still keep newborn Willa nice and cozy.
A tender moment 6 of 7One word: Awwwwwww.
The happy parents 7 of 7Keri and Shane look remarkably well-rested for a couple with a new baby and a preschooler.
