New Poster for Oz the Great & Powerful – A Sneak Peek of the Wicked Witch!

By Sunny Chanel |

Oh, now doesn’t this look gorgeous? Disney has just released a new poster for their upcoming epic Oz the Great & Powerful. And this lush look at the prequel to the Wizard of Oz gives us a great sneak peek at the one and only Wicked Witch of the West (played by Mila Kunis).

The poster really shows off the amazing vision of Sam Raimi and production designer Robert Stromberg (who is currently directing Angelina Jolie in the upcoming Disney project Maleficent)

What goes on in Oz the Great & Powerful?

“When small-time magician Oscar Diggs (James Franco) pulls one flimflam too many, he finds himself hurled into the fantastical Land of Oz where he must somehow transform himself into the great and powerful wizard—and just maybe into a better man as well.”

And I can say, first hand, that the film will be amazing. I was able to visit the set in the midst of shooting and was in complete awe of the production. I can’t say more than that right now, but will be able to share more soon!

As for the film itself, we’ll all have to wait for that, Oz the Great & Powerful won’t be opening until March 8, 2013! But trust me, it’ll be worth it.

You can find out more about the film right here.
