New Rumor: Khloe Kardashian Wants to Be the Next Pregnant Kardashian Sister

It’s not surprising that sisters who are close to each other — like the Kardashians are — would want their children to grow up the same way. Kim’s new baby will have built-in playmates in Kourtney’s kids:  Mason, 3, and Penelope, 6 months.

Now the word is that Khloe is resuming her efforts to get pregnant so that her child will be close in age to his or her cousins.

You’ll recall that Khloe and husband Lamar Odom have been trying to have a baby for quite some time; Khloe was even trying fertility treatments. However, when their lives and schedules were thrown into upheaval — his back-and-forth NBA trades from Dallas to L.A., her hosting gig on The X Factor — Khloe decided to put the baby-making on the back burner until things calmed down.

According to HollywoodLife, all that changed when Khloe learned that her sister was expecting. “Now that Kim is pregnant, Khloe is making it her top priority to get pregnant next,” says an inside source. “She really wants her kids to be the same ages as their cousins and is starting to panic a little.”

With that in mind, Khloe is said to be resuming the fertility treatments in hopes of starting her family before Kim’s and Kourtney’s children get much older. She plans to keep at it, even if she goes back to X Factor.

Is sibling envy setting in? Not at all! The source stresses, “She isn’t jealous of Kim, more so just very inspired.”

Khloe has long insisted that she’s taking things as they come and accepting whatever divine timing has in store when it comes to getting pregnant. Still, it can’t be easy for her to see her sisters wearing fashionable maternity gear and cuddling their newborns when she’s wanted to be in their shoes for so long.

We don’t know for sure if Khloe really is moving ahead with IVF, IUI or whatever procedure her doctor recommends. But we certainly wish her all the best – and urge her not to get too stressed about it. Infertility is a difficult road to travel, and setting personal deadlines makes it even worse.
