Even though Michael Douglas is putting on a brave face for the public regarding his battle with throat cancer, director Oliver Stone is revealing that his battle may be more difficult than he is letting on.
RadarOnline.com is reporting that Stone, who is in Berlin promoting his movie ‘Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps’, starring Douglas, said that the actor is in a “precarious” state of health and is “suffering”.
Douglas was scheduled to join Stone on the European tour to promote the movie, but has stayed behind to finish his treatment.
According to Douglas’s publicist, after his 8 week course of treatment he’ll need another six weeks to recover. Douglas’s publicist has also refuted Stone’s remark, saying, “The doctors are very happy…he’s perfectly fine. If Mr Stone in Berlin knows something different, well, what can I say”.
Well, regardless of how serious his situation is, we wish him a full and speedy recovery.
