Oprah Show: Best Celebrity Parent Moments on the Oprah Show!

Tom Cruise on Oprah

As 25 amazing years of The Oprah Show come to a sad end, we’re looking back at the amazing celebrity parents that have been guests.

One of the best Oprah moments was with celebrity dad Tom Cruise.  Who can ever forget Tom’s jump for joy on Oprah’s couch after declaring his love for Katie Holmes?  That moment is one of the most memorable celebrity moments I can think of!

But the funniest during his whopping 16 appearances on the Oprah show was when Tom and Oprah met Nancy.  Remember Nancy, the woman who got to meet Tom Cruise and Oprah not once but twice?  Watch the video here.

John Travolta has also had many amazing moments on Oprah.  The actor made his 20th Oprah Show appearance in September 2010 when he danced Oprah onto the stage for her farewell season premiere and helped surprise 302 Ultimate Viewers with a trip to Australia.

Incredible moment!  Over the years, this actor and humanitarian has stood beside Oprah and her viewers time and time again.

Halle Berry has also shared a few memorable moments on Oprah.  The first African-American woman to win an Oscar for Best Actress, she has appeared on The Oprah Show 22 times!  We’ve heard Halle talk about being a mom to interracial adoption to her ugly divorce but the best moment was when Halle revealed her baby bump in October 2007 on Oprah’s stage.

New mom of twins Mariah Carey has helped make many viewers’ dreams come true.  In 2005, she coached one of her biggest fans, 12-year-old Paul, through his first recording session.  Amazingly, Paul ended up landing a record deal and Mariah signed on as the producer.

Oprah, we’ll miss you!
