Oscars 2011: Natalie Portman Thanks Fiancee for Most Important Role EVER

It was no surprise that Natalie Portman would win the Oscar for the Best Actress for 2011. She was on the top of pretty much everyone’s prediction lists of who would be winner.  Her performance in Black Swan was just that good.

Natalie Portman looked lovely in eggplant hued gown that gloriously disguised her baby bump. And as she stood there thanking everyone who made her the star she is today from Luc Bresson to the man who recently gave her her most important role ever and it’s not the director or casting director of Black Swan…she thanked her fiancee Benjamin Millepied for not just for being the choreographer in the film but for giving her, as she said, “my most important role ever,” which she said while gesturing to her pregnant tummy.  A sweet moment for sure.
