Pamela Anderson is often seen out with her two kids Brandon, 14, and Dylan, 12. Their dad, Tommy Lee, is rarely spotted with them. Instead, he is off living his rock star lifestyle as a drummer for Motley Crue.
Pamela, who was once a wild child herself, has learned to accept this. “No, they don’t spend a lot of time with their father. I think they will spend more time with him when they are older, but Tommy is eternally 16,” she told the UK’s Fabulous magazine.
“It’s not that I don’t like them being with him. He spends as much time with them as he can. I just came to the realization that our relationship… it just is what it is.”
Pamela and Tommy have been on good terms since they split. She has been in and out of relationships and marriages, but has stated repeatedly that she will always love the father of her children. “Life’s not over yet. Of course we love each other. But we don’t have to live together. Romance is tragic, so let’s leave it. My parents are still together and madly in love.”
“I have tortured myself over it for years and was devastated and depressed for much of the last 15 years about that relationship,” she continued “It’s mostly about the kids. I think I’ve just tried to attach myself to anybody who’d create a family, but the people I attracted weren’t really the fairytale I planned.”
But that isn’t going to get the blond icon down. “I think I’d just rather be alone and take care of my kids and wait it out. Something will happen one day. If not, my kids will look after me.
