Pelosi Election Results: Celebrities Won't Miss Nancy Pelosi
The Pelosi election results are in, and Nancy Pelosi has officially been ousted from her role as Speaker of The House of Representatives. The Republican Party has taken over the House, and Nancy Pelosi has been sent packing back to her home of San Francisco. I wonder if she’s flying back on her private jet.
Many celebrities voted yesterday, and there are quite a few who definitely won’t miss Nancy Pelosi. There are plenty of Republican celebs in Hollywood, even though they aren’t talked about as much as celebrities who are Democrats.
Here are some famous names who aren’t exactly shedding tears over the Pelosi election results:
Angie Harmon and Jason Sehorn – They are very active in the Republican party. They attended the last Republican convention and supported McCain in the Presidential election.
Shannon Doherty - The actress once said, “I’m a conservative. I was an avid supporter of Ronald Reagan; I thought he was fabulous.”
Kelsey Grammer – He donated money in 2004 to support President Bush and the Republicans.
Heather Locklear - This celeb mom is a registered Republican voter.
Jessica Simpson and Hilary Duff – Both of these pop princesses support the Republican party.
Other celebrities who won’t miss Nancy Pelosi include Larry the Cable Guy, Jeff Foxworthy, Drew Carey, Scott Baio, and Stephen Baldwin, to name a few.

thank god for small miracles..now if we can only get the rest of these proffesional politicians out of dc we will have a chance at getting back on track.
You make it sound like she didn’t get reelected! Ms. Pelosi received 80% of the vote, higher than any elected house member in the state of California! Sounds like a lot of people voted for her.
Yes, Californians may have voted for Ms. Pelosi…but the remainder of the country, with THEIR votes, didn’t. She’s going to miss the perks for sure! It will be interesting how she spins her situation into a true ‘win’.
The fact that California re-elected Nancy “Pass the Bill so we can find out what’s in it” Pelosi and Barbara Boxer tells me all I need to know about the state.
Good luck with that budget, (not so) Golden State!
Yeah, but there more of them that wanted her fired as speaker of the house.
Nancy received 80% of the vote huh. That’s about the same percentage results as Hugo Chavez, khadafi, etc…
Just goes to show how out of touch the people of San Francisco are with the rest of the country. She is a travisty…you want her you can have her. Thank god she is no longer the Speaker of the House!!!
Ms. Pelosi did get did get 80% of the vote but not in states where it mattered. She lost. This is the thing that Democrats don’t understand. They wanted a president that would “Change” things, instead they got a crazy guy that’s killing small business, shipping our work over seas and spending 500,000 to save one persons job. Pelosi was right there with Obama all the way she was a freak. A far left liberal. She deserved to lose her seat the day she got it. I consider her an extremist. This country is already in debt what doesn’t the president understand? She just helped make our situation worse.
ps: Obama only won the election because they were tired of The Bush Administration and their spending but now look what we’ve got ourselves into. This country is being divided. Obama has spent more money in 2 YEARS! he is just shoving stuff down our throats that we don’t want (health care anyone???). Oh and did i forget to say that Obama has a speech writers? yeah and he uses them constantly. the only thing the man can do is give speeches, not write them.
Um Obama is not the one responsible for shipping jobs that heated up on the other guys watch . Obama is trying to stop the tax incentives that encourage American businesses to ship jobs overseas. The Republicans call that “hurting small businesses”!!!
Bush ran the ecomomy into a deep hole. An economic situation matched only by the GREAT DEPRESSION. Thayt is why Bush had to initiate theBAIL OUT.
During a major recession, people are out of work so they cannot spend money, business stops spending and hiring because their is not enough demand. This is a viscious cycle that can plague a nation for decades. They only way to intervene in this downward cycle is for someone to begin spending and hiring… That entity is usually the government. People called the Obama take over of the auto industry “socialism” But it was not. The companies have paid back all the loans and they are about to raise much more on the stock market. A real success story.
In two years the public will be totally disillusioned by the Republicans antics in the house. The extreme right will control the nomination process for Prez candidates and Obama will be re elected. You may think that the country did not want a Speaker Pelosi but they really do not want a President Pallin.
