Perez Hilton Apologizes To Mom Demi Moore On Twitter. Do You Believe Him? (VIDEO)
Perez Hilton's new motto: Love is louder
It would be easy to dismiss master self-promoter Perez Hilton’s sudden epiphany (I am mean! I should be nice!) on a desire to drive more traffic to his web site. But because his message is a beautiful one, that love is stronger than hate, we’re going to give him the benefit of the doubt and applaud him for pledging to stop the nasty comments and outings his blog is infamous for.
Instead he’s started apologizing to a host of celebrities whose names he’s besmirched over the years, starting with Demi Moore, the mom of three known who goes by the handle @MrsKutcher on Twitter.
“@MrsKutcher There’s too many 2 tell this 2, but I thought I’d start with U. I’m sorry,” Perez tweeted yesterday. What followed was a series of semi-disturbingly chipper and upbeat (for Hilton) tweets in which he also apologized to former “Hills” star Lauren Conrad.
And the “I’m sorrys” will keep coming. In a video posted on YouTube (see below), a message he repeated on “Ellen DeGeneres” yesterday, Hilton said he’s been inspired, after seven years of blogging, to grow up and stop the hateful speech, in the wake of the tragic series of suicides by teens (including several gay) who had been bullied.
Whether you like him or not, you have to admit it takes some guts to say you were wrong.
What do you think – is Perez for real? I hope at the least this brings attention to a serious problem of concern to all parents, bullying.

I love Perez, have read him for years, and I’ll keep reading. I love this new message. The snarkiness and humor will remain, but the bullying will go. I read him for the funny snark in the first place, not the mean jabs.
Pee dribble, snots dots and “stars” in their eyes were all in good fun… They were especially appropriate on “celebs” snapped while they were being “interviewed” by paps… Perhaps Perez can keep a few of the most outrageous famewhores…for old times sake…
