Pregnant: Kristen Bell & Dax Shepard Are Totally Going to Have a Baby!

Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell

Parenthood is about to become a reality for the TV star Dax Shepard. He and actress Kristen Bell are reportedly going to have a baby!

The couple have been together since 2007 and have been engaged for the past three years. But they don’t plan on getting actually married until same-sex marriage is legalized.  “We wouldn’t want to invite all of our friends who don’t have that right to celebrate us, who have that right. We just don’t feel right about that,” Shepard said on The View. Kristen added, “Can you think about how rude that would feel?”

As for their upcoming baby… “They’re so excited — they’re both ecstatic. They can’t wait to become parents,” a source told People.

“Kristen had a little bit of morning sickness early on but she just started shooting the second season of House of Lies and is feeling great now.”

A while ago the Kristen said on the topic of having a baby, “we’ll do it. We’ll have some babies.” She jokingly added, “It will be our gift to America.”

Her House of Lies costar Ben Schwartz said of the couple that they  are, “so fun together,” but that seeing them raise children would be like “a hilarious and terrible sitcom.”

This past February I had the chance to participate in an interview with Kristen Bell for The Big Miracle, after a very sweet answer to a question, someone piped in, “you’d be a great mom.” Kristen gave a huge grin and said, “I hope so!”

Congrats to the happy couple!

And check out this hilarious video of her meeting a sloth! One thing for sure she’ll be an emotional and silly mom.
