Prince William and Kate Middleton interview: The best moments

Prince William and Kate Middleton sat for their very first interview after getting engaged, and it was wonderful to see a couple so in love and also so respectful of their families and the British royal traditions. Below are some of the highlights of the video, including what Kate had to say about the late Princess Diana, whom she never met.

Can you imagine, Kate probably watched the princess while she was growing up and saw her sons in the media spotlight, and now she’s marrying one of them … how strange.

Anyway, on to the three highlights I liked best, including the choosing of Kate Middleton’s engagement ring:

Kate talking about Princess Diana: “Obviously, I’d have loved to have met her. She’s an inspirational woman to look up to obviously to this day, [she's] very inspirational.”

William talking about his mom’s ring: “It was my way of making sure my mother didn’t miss out on today and the excitement, and the fact that we’re going to spend the rest of our lives together.”

William on the engagement: “[I'd been planning] for a while but as any guy out there will know it takes a certain amount of motivation to get yourself going.”

Did you watch the interview? What were your favorite moments?
