A baby’s chistening is a sacred event, a time for family and close friends to come and join together for the beloved new infant’s baptism. It is a time of peace, happiness and togetherness…that is if you aren’t one of the cast members of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Season three of The Real Housewives of New Jersey (which airs on May 16th) starts off – right out of the gate – with a some good old fashioned chaos. What happens? (Spoiler Alert!)
At the Manor, a reception hall in West Orange, New Jersey, Teresa Guidice got in a verbal altercation with her brother Joe Gorga (the husband of new cast member Melissa Gorga).
The New York Post reports that, “(Joe) Gorga, is sitting with his wife, Melissa, and their friends. Before she can utter the word “Congratulations,” Joe, who is two years younger, lashes out at her, calling her “garbage.” A stunned Teresa tries to find out what’s wrong but Joe pounds the table and all of a sudden, it’s a free-for-all. The men are up, shoving each other. The women are braying at each other behind them.”
“I was screaming at the cameras to get out of my son’s christening,” said Melissa. “I didn’t sleep for three days. I was devastated.”
Yup, pretty dramatic. And at their baby’s christening? Yeah, that’s not a happy to joining the cast, let’s hope it doesn’t get worse!
