Apparently all the hype over Danielle Staub’s dismissal and her confrontation with Caroline Manzo really paid off. “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” season finale Monday night on Bravo was the show’s most-watched episode this season, with more than 3.4 million viewers tuning in.
That was an extraordinary 31 percent jump over the previous week’s episode, which averaged 2.6 million viewers, and it was up 300,000 from the episode in which the housewives went to Italy a couple weeks ago. No big surprise after all the teasing, who would have missed the Danielle-Caroline showdown?
To see whether the RHONJ scored better than the season premiere of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” read on.
But apparently Danielle vs. Caroline is not quite as exciting as Kourtney vs. Scott. The season premiere of “Kardashians” on E! Sunday night did a bit better than “RHONJ,” averaging 4.7 million viewers, the second-most ever for the series, as people tuned in to see what happened after Kourtney and baby Mason left baby daddy Scott in the season finale of “Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami” the week before.
Maybe the “RHONJ” reunion next week will top the Kardashians things supposedly get physical then!
