NFL Puts on Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness

Real men wear pink!  The NFL put on pink for today’s games in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Throughout the month of October, the NFL Players Association is stepping up to show its support for the fight against breast cancer.   For the next few weeks, you can catch your favorite players, coaches, refs, and even the camera-guys wearing a wide array of pink items to show off their support of this important cause.

The annual campaign titled “A Crucial Catch”,  is focused on raising awareness of the importance of annual screenings, especially for women who are 40 and older.

All of the pink apparel worn at games by players and coaches plus some special game balls and pink coins will be auctioned off at NFL Auction with the proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society and selected team charities.
