Former Bachelorette Trista Sutter, and her husband Ryan Sutter, are one of the rare couples who managed to meet, fall in love, marry and have kids, all because of a reality TV show. And while Trista has no regrets about how they met, she says no more to reality TV.
Sutter spoke with Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush, via Sykpe, and said she has turned down numerous offers to have her life with Ryan and their kids, filmed.
She said, “We just felt like there really isn’t a monetary value you can put on the sanctity of your family.” I’m sure she’s seen/heard about the troubles with Jon and Kate Gosselin - that would scare anyone into never even considering a TV show!
Trista, mom to Maxwell Alston, almost 2, and daughter Blakesley Grace, 10 weeks, said her son has relished in his role of big brother.
The 36-year-old TV personality said, “Oh my God, he loves her. He is constantly hugging her and kissing her and asking where the baby is.”
New baby Blakesley, according to proud mama, “is a pretty special little baby.” Trista decided not to have a nanny as she wants to enjoy every moment with her kids – she knows how fast they grow up. Plus, she and Ryan are done having children, so once her babies are grown, that’s it! Trista admits her pregnancies were “really bad,” and decided to undergo the Essure permanent birth control procedure “because my family is complete.”
She added, “[My pregnancy with Max] almost killed me… So I don’t want to have to go through anything scary like that again.”
