Rebecca Black GMA interview: victim of cyberbullying?

Rebecca Black was on GMA to talk about her viral video “Friday” – and the cyber bullying frenzy it’s created since the video got so much attention on YouTube.

Watch Rebecca Black’s “Friday” video and check out the Friday lyrics – the video is currently at 16 million hits and climbing!

Rebecca Black’s Friday anthem has been dubbed the “worst song ever” by most everyone who’s heard the peppy tune about an 8th grader getting ready for the weekend.

Black is famous for the video now, but also the target of cyber bullying, so the fame does come at a cost.

In the Good Morning America / GMA interview, Rebecca Black talks about when she knew that “Friday” had gone viral – she said she saw it go from 4,000 to 70,000 views in one night, then woke up to 200,000 views, and “that was when i realized this is gonna be big.”

Since the release of “Friday,” she’s been on the receiving end of comments from people who say it’s “the worst song I’ve heard in my entire life,” and she said the meanest were comments like “I hope you cut yourself and I hope you get an eating disorder so you look pretty and I hope you go cut and die.”

Black says, “I think I have talent on some level… I don’t think I’m the worst singer,” and GMA puts her to the test, singing the National Anthem.

Plus, Rebecca Black has Bieber fever and she asks him if he’d a duet with her!
