Red Hot Mama! Jenny McCarthy Dines Out in L.A. (Photos)

Jenny McCarthy opts for a little red dress.

Jenny McCarthy.

Jenny McCarthy has never been what you’d call shy or inhibited – and she’s hoping to help other women rediscover their freer selves as well.

Recently hired as a blogger for the Chicago Sun-Times, the actress-model will be writing about relationships, fitness, dating and her experiences as a single mom to son Evan. Her first column, which appeared yesterday, discussed how long-married couples can spice up their sex lives.

She also keeps her message fresh by always looking amazing everywhere she goes. Last night, she appeared in this stunning little red dress (LRD?) as she met friends for dinner at L.A.’s famed Mr. Chow. With an outfit that short and form-fitting, it’s a good bet she didn’t have a zillion-calorie dish like General Tso’s Chicken.

Not sure I’m feeling the love for the chunky black shoes – a dress like that seems to cry out for stilettos – but that doesn’t detract much from the look. It just goes to show that being a mother doesn’t have to mean losing your hawtness.
