Remembering Nestor Kirchner: Former Argentine President Nestor Kirchner Passes AwayTheMommyologist
Former Argentine President, Nestor Kirchner, passed away today at the age of 60 after suffering a massive heart attack. His doctor reports that his death was very sudden.
Nestor Kirchner had another heart attack back in September and underwent angioplasty. He and his wife, current Argentine leader Cristina Fernandez, were in El Calafate waiting to be counted in the nation’s census before he passed away suddenly.
Cristina Fernandez and Nestor Kirchner were supposedly never apart. They have two children together, Maximo and Florencia.
Congressman Juan Carlos Dante Gullo said, “A great patriot has died. This will leave a huge hole in Argentine politics. We will have to follow his example. Argentina has lost one of its greatest men.”
The Argentine people are shocked over Nestor Kirchner’s passing. Kirchner served as president from 2003-2007, and got Argentina out of an economic crisis. He will be greatly missed.
Our hearts and prayers go out to Nestor Kirchner’s wife and family during this difficult time.
