Revenge… A Kid's Perspective (VIDEO CLIP)
I’m sure no one will discover this to be a surprise…I LOVE TV. But most of all, I love TV on Sunday nights. (I was a little saddened when Desperate Housewives came to an end.) This season, one of my favorite shows moved to Sunday and so far there’s been no disappointment whatsoever! I am a HUGE, and I mean HUGE, fan of “Revenge.” While it’s on, all of my friends get on Facebook and we do play by play commentary to each other about the show! We oooohhhh, we aaaahhhhh, we shrreeeeaaaakkkk… with excitement AND anger!
The funniest part is that I am one of those TV watchers who has difficulty an actor from one series to another. I often think of them as their character from a previous show. Last night though, my husband’s client JR Bourne was on “Revenge.” He plays Kenny, the guy who Declan ripped off. I kid you not, even though I know JR, even though I know his work from other series, I believed for every second that he was his character on “Revenge” and can’t wait to watch it play out.
This show throws out the hook week after week and I take the bait every time! Just when you think something has been discovered and you believe that you know what’s going on, a new plot is uncovered and it opens a whole new storyline that you didn’t expect!
So this is straight from the “deep thoughts’” department, but have you ever thought about how, as adults, we approach these story lines much differently than children do? If my kids were watching “Revenge” with me last night, what would they think now that Emily and Amanda’s relationship is tangled up with Victoria and Charlotte? Whose mother is whose? Who are the real sisters?
We’ve got an EXCLUSIVE look at how some young people have interpreted the show. Maybe it will give you a different perspective or an even better understanding of “REVENGE!”

I started watching Revenge but then missed a few episodes, will definitely have to remember to DVR it. I know what you mean about seeing characters as they were on old shows, I’m the same way!
