The Real Housewives of New Jersey finale may be done and over, but that doesn’t mean that the feud between Melissa Gorga and sister-in-law Teresa Giudice has simmered down.
In a new interview with HollyBaby, Melissa Gorga talks about parenting and why she feels it’s important not to fight in front of her kids, Antonia, Gino and Joey.
Gorga dishes, “You try to cover it up as much as you can and for as long as you can. There’s no reason why a young child should see their aunts or uncles or any grown adults not being able to get a long. They just want to love their aunts. The want to love their uncles. So to bring them in is selfish and it’s mean. Just to make them side with you, it’s terrible.”
Melissa also spoke about making time for her kids, noting “When I’m home, we’re all sitting down together,” which includes dinner and taking the time to talk as a family.
Gorga maintains that it’s hard for her to have a babysitter help out, but she sometimes needs the assistance. Melissa said, “It’s hard to let go because I want to be there for every single thing.”
She adds, “I have no cooks, no nannies, no housekeepers, none of that. I like doing it myself.”
For now, she has no plans to hire people to help her, but notes, “If it ever gets to a point where I’m completely overwhelmed, then of course you have to.”
As for having more kids, Melissa says, “I’ve always said I want three children.”
