Rod Stewart & Penny Lancaster Blame Fish For Infertility IssuesSunny Chanel
Many people who are faced with infertility issues don’t have a scapegoat to blame. But some who struggle with becoming pregnant do find out the issue from a long list of medical conditions which might make conceiving a child complicated, difficult or impossible. After two years of trying and their own struggle with infertility, Rod Stewart‘s wife Penny Lancaster has successfully become pregnant. What are they blaming for the their infertility issues? Fish.
Fish, and lots of it. It reportedly turns out that Penny ate a diet that included lots and lots of seafood resulting in very high levels of mercury. She told Hello! that,
“A homeopathic doctor told me my mercury levels were really high, off the scale. I do love fish, and I thought it was healthy without understanding the high mercury levels that fish like tuna, swordfish and halibut can contain. My doctor said it was unhealthy to have so much mercury in my body, and also for conceiving babies.”
After she cut down her body responded well to the IVF treatments and resulted in her current pregnancy. They believe that their new child will be a son who will join four-year-old Alastair, his first child with Penny. Rod also has six other kid. And this new addition will be his eighth, yes eighth kid!
