Roger Federer Wins Australian Open
Roger Federer won the Australian Open on Sunday and completed his 16th grand slam, his first since his wife Mirka gave birth to twins last summer.
“I have played some of the best tennis of my last in the last two weeks,” Federer told a capacity crowd after beating Britain’s Andy Murray in straight sets. “This is very special because it’s my first grand slam as a father.”
Roger and Mirka welcomed twins Charlene Riva and Myla Rose last July.
