'Rolling Stone' Admits To Misquoting Justin BieberChris Rogers
Justin Bieber has definitely been getting his fair share of flack this past week as an interview by Rolling Stone magazine has been making the rounds.
In the exclusive interview, Bieber was asked several questions ranging in hard topics such as sex, rape, drugs, and abortion. And of course his answers are getting criticized from anyone and everyone.
Specifically, many are questioning the young singer’s opinion on rape and abortion in which he stated, “Um. Well, I think that’s really sad, but everything happens for a reason. I guess I haven’t been in that position, so I wouldn’t be able to judge that.”
Rolling Stone has now come forward and stated that they misquoted the Biebs and the new quote goes as follows:
“Um. Well, I think that’s really sad, but everything happens for a reason. I don’t know how that would be a reason. I guess I haven’t been in that position, so I wouldn’t be able to judge that.”
Taking out that very important sentence changes the quote entirely. Rolling Stone should be ashamed of themselves. Perhaps all the negativity towards Justin will cease? He is just a teenager for crying out loud. He is still living and learning.
