The royal wedding date and location for Prince William and Kate Middleton’s big day are expected to be announced today.
It’s also important to note that the royal wedding date will become a national holiday, as Prime Minister David Cameron has declared that the Prince William/Kate Middleton royal wedding day will be observed.
Additionally, if the royal wedding date is on a Saturday, the national holiday will allow workers to have either the Friday or Monday surrounding the weekend wedding off as well.
While the royal wedding date has yet to be announced, everyone has their predictions, with bookies betting on May, and some pointing to the anniversary of Prince Charles and Lady Diana’s wedding on July 29.
Other royal wedding date guesses include Prince Philips 90th birthday (June 10), Charles and Camilla’s wedding anniversary (April 9) or William’s birthday (June 21)
I’m putting my royal wedding date prediction out there too – June 18, 2011. Just putting it out there…
As for the royal wedding location, it’s rumored that William and Kate will be married at Westminster Abbey. Watch the video clip for more about the history of Westminster Abbey.
