Rutgers Football Player Eric LeGrand On The Path To Recovery

Eric LeGrand, a Rutgers football player, was paralyzed from the neck down after suffering a violent hit while playing. He has received an outpouring of support from fans and his coach, Greg Schiano, has been by his side everyday.

Eric’s recovery is uncertain. “In the end it boils down to, nobody really knows,” the coach told People.

“I do know this. Your prayers matter, and all our prayers matter, and we believe Eric’s going to recover and that’s our approach, and that’s his approach. We’re going to take it one step at a time.”

Eric is feeling better with all the support he’s received. When he feels ok, he’s been spending time watching DVDs with messages from his friends and teammates.
