Well, Ryan and Trista Sutter caught my attention and in an emotional way that I would not expect to find on Twitter. After I saw this tweet  @ryansutter, I know I'm not your dad, but wear your seat belt anyway. Please. I had to email him to find out what happened! .

" Prompted by an early morning car accident in which two people were thrown from a vehicle. They were not wearing seat belts. They did survive I believe but were very lucky and sustained injuries they would not have had they been buckled up." @ryansutter Crazy weather in @vailmtn today. Firehouse is busy!

When did you become a firefighter?
Since 2001, Ryan who is married to Trista Sutter and met his sweetheart on The Bachelorette has two beautiful children Blakesley and Max. Here are a few questions I had to ask him about safety and children! @ryansutter Firetrucks and snow.

I am more conscious of parents as they deal with ill or injured kids. I am sensitive to their fears and tend to follow up whenever possible to ensure both kids and parents are recovering..@ryansutter Zen gardening can not start earlier enough...

Additionally, I make a concerted effort to reach out to children in the community. This includes touring the fire station or trucks or simply saying hello on the street. I know there is a positive impact from those simple acts. @ryansutter One of many smiles yesterday at @bolvail Love that place!

I suppose I am more conscious of kids in precarious situations, i.e. on the riverbank or large boulders. @ryansutter Kids (and Daddy) love these @miniusa counterman rides and the @burtonSnowboard US Open @vailmtn

I pay closer attention to potential dangers rather than simply coming when called. I consider the effect on kids in every situation, whether impacted directly or indirectly. @ryansutter Kids (and Daddy) love these @miniusa counterman rides and the @burtonSnowboard US Open @vailmtn

Allow them to experience their environments rather than completely shielding or protecting them from them. Take obvious safety precautions but understand that kids need to experience mistakes in order to learn.@ryansutter Wonder what she's thinking?
