SAG Awards: 'King's Speech' and 'Fighter' Win Big, Betty White Flirts with TrophyMichelle Lamar
The King’s Speech and The Fighter won big at last night’s SAG awards and Betty White flirted with her trophy after winning in the TV category. Natalie Portman continued her winning streak by taking home the Best Actress honor for her amazing performance in Black Swan.
The Screen Actors Guild Awards gave the top prize to The King’s Speech. The film won the SAG award for Outstanding performance by a cast in a motion picture and star Colin Firth won as best male actor in a film.
Mark Wahlberg’s movie, The Fighter continued the winning streak this awards season for Christian Bale. Bale won the Best Supporting Actor nod for his work in the film, while Melissa Leo, won Screen Actors Guild award for Best Supporting Actress.
The amazing Betty White continued her winning streak as most beloved actress ever at the SAG awards last night. The 89-year-old actress took home the awards for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series.
The always funny Ms. White flirted with her trophy last night as she claimed to be shocked by the nude award. “Oooh!” she exclaimed as she ran her hands along its bare back. “I can’t say thank you enough,” she smiled as she wrapped her hands around its body in a very suggestive way. Betty White is awesome, isn’t she?
