TV talk show titan Sally Jesse Raphael was a special guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show today. And during her interview, she discussed how she hates being away from tv land and how she is returning in a brand new series.
The new series, I’m Still Sally, is a half-hour, partially scripted “mockusoap” that follows her attempts to land a new TV gig.
A mashup of “Dirty Jobs,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and “The Comeback,” I’m Still Sally will reportedly feature 65-year-old Raphael’s husband Karl as well as “her young gay assistant Micah and her sassy housekeeper Patricia, all of whom she abuses relentlessly,” reports Deadline.
No word on what network will air Sally, but I’m intrigued. Will you be tuning in?
