Sandra Bullock – Not An Evil Stepmother
Sandra Bullock knows how hard it is to be a step-mom. There is such a negative connotation that goes with the label, but she’s not going to let that get her down.
She loves being a step mom to her husband’s children, from both his marriages. (It’s funny, the source mentions Sunny, but not the names of the other two kids.)
She may never have children of her own and has admitted that the thought of that hurts, but she knows what it takes to be a mom.
She says, “I may never hear that word ‘mom’. But being a parent is not about breeding. It’s about caring. And it’s easy to say, but it’s harder to do. When you don’t have that title, you flounder and it hurts. But this is the best test of being a parent. And I just have to keep reminding myself I don’t care what I get. I care what I give.”
So easy to say, so hard to do – all of the time.
