Sandra Bullock's Adopting Again!

Is Louis going to have a brother or sister?

What a great week for baby-adoption news! Charlize Theron just welcomed son Jackson into her heart and home, and word is that Kristen Wiig is seriously considering the same.

Now RadarOnline is exclusively reporting that Sandra Bullock is in the process of adopting a sibling for her son, Louis.

“Sandra has always planned to have more than one child,” an insider tells the site. “She feels that now is a good time for a new baby to be welcomed into the family.”

As with her first child, Sandra is pursuing a domestic adoption, and she reportedly has just completed all the paperwork.

She had originally planned to adopt Louis with then-husband Jesse James, but once their marriage fell apart, she went ahead with the adoption as a single mom.

Sandra is one of many celebs who have become parents through adoption. Some, like her, are single moms who want children; others have infertility issues or want to give children from developing nations a better life.

But don’t send Bullock baby gifts just yet.

The adoption process can take up to a year – or even more – before the child actually joins his or her new family. “It took [Bullock] about 18 months to finally get Louis, and there is no timetable as to when she will get the second child,” the source tells Radar.

But the coming months will give the proud mom time to prepare 2-year-old Louis for the reality that he’ll be a big brother – and help him deal with the inevitable jealousy issues.

So will the newest Bullock be a boy or girl? Sandra doesn’t care. “She just wants a healthy baby.”

Here’s hoping for good news for mom and big brother this year!
