Sarah Jessica Parker, Gwyneth Paltrow And More Get Punked At The Met Gala (Photos)

Where’s Johnny Rotten when you need him?

Apparently the term “Chaos Meets Couture” must have sounded foreign to most of Hollywood’s fashionable elite as only a hand-full of celebs got the punk memo for the 2013 Met Gala in New York City on Tuesday afternoon.

When it comes to the best dressed of the night, Sarah Jessica Parker totally nailed her punk-inspired look with many other celebrity moms following suite including Gwyneth Paltrow, Heidi Klum, Katie Holmes, and more.

Check out our photo gallery below and tell us, which looks were a hit for you and which ones do you think were a miss?

Sarah Jessica Parker, the fashion world bows down to you. Apparently she was the only celebrity who got the punk memo and nailed this like no other. All hail to the Queen!

  • Gwyneth Paltrow 2 of 10

I can't hate on Gwyneth Paltrow because I would totally wear a pink dress like this, too. In fact, it was one of the more modern looking dresses at the gala. But it does seem like a LOT of pink though, doesn't it?

  • Claire Danes 3 of 10

Claire Danes looks beautiful, but I was hoping for something a little more punk from her. She could have done something more with the hair, too.

  • Beyonce 4 of 10

Beyonce's dress is definitely daring, but I'm not sure if I'm loving the boots and the gloves. What do you think?

  • Heidi Klum 5 of 10

Heidi Klum looking like a goddess, as always! She never skips a beat in the fashion department.

  • Katie Holmes 6 of 10

Katie Holmes' dress is beautiful here, but I'm not sure if the heavy make-up is really appropriate for it, though.

  • Jessica Alba 7 of 10

Whoa. What happened to Jessica Alba's eyebrows here? While she usually always looks stunning, this one might be a bit of a miss.

  • Michelle Williams 8 of 10

Smile, please? I like Michelle's dress but it looks more prom-appropriate than something for the Met.

  • Kim Kardashian 9 of 10

I really want to give Kim Kardashian some love here, but somehow I can't. I'll just be honest in saying that Helen Mirren could have pulled off this dress much better, in my opinion.

  • Alicia Keys 10 of 10

Alicia wrapped up in leather for her Met look here. What do you think of the deep purple sequins?
